At its heart, Sacred Sedona Art is more than a place to view or purchase Sedona Artwork. It is part of a larger vision to create a connected, artist-driven community where local creatives can be seen, supported, and given space to grow.

A Platform for Sedona Artists

Sedona has long inspired artists through its landscapes, energy, culture, and sense of place. Sacred Sedona Art was created to honor that spirit by giving Sedona Artists a public-facing platform where their work, stories, and creative offerings can be shared with a wider audience.

By welcoming a range of artistic modalities, the platform reflects the diversity, depth, and vitality of Sedona Art as a living and evolving creative community.

Built by Artists, for Artists

Sacred Sedona Art is an artist-created platform designed to support Sedona Artists, promote original Sedona Artwork, and celebrate the many forms of Art in Sedona.

One of the defining aspects of Sacred Sedona Art is that it is built by artists themselves. The imagery, photography, media, and creative materials connected to the organization are intended to come directly from its artistic members. This gives the platform an authenticity that reflects the people it was created to serve.

Rather than operating as a distant marketplace, Sacred Sedona Art is being developed as a genuine extension of the local creative community. It is rooted in the belief that artists understand the needs of artists —- and that a stronger creative future can be built through collaboration, visibility, and mutual support.

A Democratic, Artist-Driven Future

The long-term vision for the organization is rooted in democratic participation and shared purpose.

As the community grows, artists involved in the collective will help shape the future of the organization through equal voice and shared decision-making.

Future possibilities may include:

  • artist resources and support materials
  • training seminars
  • youth and emerging artist opportunities
  • community gatherings
  • shared spaces for creating and practicing
  • gallery or exhibit opportunities
  • nonprofit development and community support initiatives

This vision reflects a belief that Art in Sedona can be both beautiful and deeply practical – not only inspiring people through creative work, but also helping build a stronger local cultural foundation.

Sedona Art Collective

Sacred Sedona Art is closely connected to the Sedona Art Collective, the membership side of the organization. While Sacred Sedona Art serves as the public platform, the collective exists to bring local artists together around shared values, mutual support, and long-term creative development.
The vision for the collective includes growing resources for artists over time, creating educational opportunities, encouraging collaboration across modalities, and developing future initiatives that serve the broader artistic community. Together, these two sides of the organization help create a model where Sedona Art is not only promoted, but actively supported from within.
